Bottle artwork designed by Lori Brockman.

2003 was a huge beginning to grape growing.  Building vineyard trellises, installing drip systems and learning all we could about grapes, the wine making process & keeping the critters away from the vineyard.

The first planting in April included 17 Cabernet Sauvignon, 17 Riesling and 17 Chardonnay vines.

A picture is worth a thousand words... by June of 2005 the vineyard had grown to 520 vines.

Sacrificing more of the golf course footage, the west vineyard is beginning to take shape with Riesling and Muscat added spring of 2007

Meanwhile, our oldest vines are a great backdrop from the deck...

We could not adequately portray the atmosphere of our labors at Nellis Vineyards without sharing the intermittent moments in which God dims the lights and humbly shares the fruits of His Labors—
His sunsets.
